Gwenneth Tourret trained at Harrow Art School and subsequently worked in an art studio for four years before becoming a freelance illustrator. She has illustrated traditional fairy tales, children's books and educational books for Ladybird Books, Longman's, Hamlyn, Oxford University Press, MacDonald Young Books, Macmillan, Oliver & Boyd, Odhams Press, Pearson and Purnell.
